Third-party notices#

The notices the game shows in Settings > Licences live in Assets/NextAppLabs/IdleRpg/Legal/THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES.txt (plain text, referenced by Content/LegalInfo.asset > Licences). This page explains what is in it, why, and what you add for your own build. Edit the .txt; this page is the guide.

What you add#

Every SDK you install brings its own licence. Add its notice to the .txt under a new == Name == heading:

  • Unity IAP (com.unity.purchasing): Unity Companion License, and its bundled third-party notices (Google Play Billing Library: Apache-2.0).
  • Unity LevelPlay and each mediation adapter: vendor terms. Some adapters bundle Apache-2.0 libraries.
  • Google User Messaging Platform (consent), Google Mobile Ads, AndroidX: Apache-2.0. Apache-2.0 requires reproducing the licence and any NOTICE file.
  • Any font you add: its licence (OFL fonts need the full OFL text).

A Gradle build can list Android dependencies with ./gradlew :launcher:dependencies; the Google "oss-licenses" plugin can generate the Android list for you.
